Mono/mint is a name for collaborative art duo: Ivona Pelajic and Fredrik Stjernqvist. The duo was formed in the early 2021 in Berlin and has been active since, in Germany and Sweden. Their practice can be understood as an ongoing exploration of play and the edges between public space and urban ecology.

Emerging through acts of building, wandering, and reimagining, our work reflects on how children, animals and all citizens inhabit and reshape the city. Rooted in research and participatory making, with Mono/mint we explore the fragile architectures of cohabitation that emerge across urban and social ecologies.

Through collaborations with children, communities, and more-than-human actors, we investigate how spaces of play, displacement and imagination can reveal alternative modes of living together.
